Quality Gear for Concealed Carry

gearThe course of fire at our local defensive pistol league required a series of sprinting and running stairs and then wrestling our instructor prior to engaging the targets with an elevated heart rate. One of the participants was shooting a Kimber 1911 in a decent holster, but on a regular belt. During the running portion of the course of fire, he had his hand on his holster to keep the rig from flopping around. When I asked him about this after the course of fire, he said he didn’t trust his rig to securely retain his weapon. My question is why would you carry a rig that you couldn’t run with? The take-away: buy quality gear.
